Digital video platform provider Akta has partnered with Google Cloud to provide cutting-edge AI-enabled live streaming and scheduling features. The collaboration will utilize Google Cloud’s infrastructure and Media CDN to power Akta’s FAST Channels as well as Sports and News Live streaming, while bringing together Akta's expertise in delivering innovative solutions with Google Cloud’s robust content delivery network to provide a seamless streaming experience for users.
With Akta’s AI models, users can expect high-quality video streaming with proactive monitoring and predictive failure detection. Akta’s AI technology analyzes live streams in real-time to extract contextual metadata, including closed captions from spoken text, while on the monitoring side, AI monitors the video quality and proactively analyzes failure probability.
According to Alper Turgut, Chairman of Akta, AI takes error detection a step further by analyzing streaming information and preventing errors from occurring in the first place.
Akta’s AI-enabled streaming will be launched on Google Cloud’s Media CDN, the content delivery network for Google Cloud customers for live and on-demand streaming. The Akta Video Platform powers the FAST Channel Scheduling as well as Sports and News Live streaming, and with the integration of AI, content creators have access to an advanced platform and tools to create and deliver their content.
