One of the largest private broadband companies in America, Cox Communications, has acquired managed cloud services company Logicworks. By combining Logicworks and RapidScale, two firms owned by Cox Business, Cox anticipates it will be better able to deliver leading-edge cloud solutions to U.S.-based businesses around the world.  

Logicworks is a cloud computing and managed hosting solutions provider founded in 1993. The company offers a range of cloud and managed hosting services including cloud infrastructure, cloud management, and application management services. Logicworks provides its services to a variety of clients, including healthcare organizations, financial services companies, and e-commerce businesses. The company is known for its expertise in cloud migration and management, as well as its ability to help customers achieve regulatory compliance in industries such as healthcare and finance.

King & Spalding LLP was Cox’s legal counsel. Jefferies LLC and Cooley LLP both served as counsel for Logicworks. Financial terms of the Logicworks acquisition were not disclosed.
