EdgeConneX, a pioneer in global hyperlocal to hyperscale data center solutions, has announced that the Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute service is now available to its clients in Portland, providing them with access to Microsoft cloud services. Users may establish private connections using Azure ExpressRoute between their IT infrastructure and Microsoft’s international data centers.
Customers at the local EdgeConneX data center campus in Portland may now arrange a quick cross connect to discreetly access all Microsoft cloud services offered through the worldwide Azure cloud platform thanks to the new Azure ExpressRoute site that is now operational in Portland.
By utilizing the various metro ethernet options provided by their local carrier to connect back to the datacenter campus of EdgeConneX or other ExpressRoute partners providing connectivity to the Portland site, all other enterprises based in the greater Portland area are also able to connect to the regional Azure ExpressRoute site.
