With the announcement of an extended cooperation with Google Cloud, EnterpriseDB, accelerating Postgres in the enterprise, will now provide its core Postgres products on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Google Cloud now offers fully managed database-as-a-services, including EDB BigAnimal on GKE Standard and EDB Community 360 PostgreSQL on GKE Autopilot and GKE Standard.

According to the Stack Overflow 2023 Developer Survey, Postgres has surpassed MySQL as the most respected and wanted database globally. Similar to this, Google Cloud has grown at the fastest pace among the top five IaaS providers, thanks to its innovation in Kubernetes and artificial intelligence (AI) as well as the growing acceptance of conventional business workloads.
