Gcore, a European provider of high-performance cloud and edge solutions, has announced the integration of Pienso, a no-code/low-code deep learning natural language processing (NLP) software, into their Gcore Cloud Platform. This collaboration enables domain experts to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and build, train, and manage AI models aligned with their organization’s data without the need for coding knowledge.
Pienso’s platform would empower subject matter experts to shape AI models effortlessly, eliminating the requirement to write a single line of code. By utilizing the built-for-AI Graphcore Intelligence Processing Unit (IPU) technology on the Gcore Cloud platform, Pienso can offer its customers a fast and cost-effective AI solution.
Graphcore IPUs would accelerate AI workloads, significantly reducing the time and cost required to derive valuable insights. Through this partnership with Gcore, Pienso can leverage Graphcore’s high-performance AI accelerators and abstract the complexities of MLops, providing an all-in-one solution for end customers to build and deploy interactive AI models efficiently.
Andre Reitenbach, CEO of Gcore, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are delighted to partner with Pienso to provide Graphcore IPU technology-as-a-service on the Gcore Cloud platform. Together, we are equipping public and private sector organizations to deliver value from their AI and make a real impact on their operations.”
AI Solution Demand

This collaboration between Pienso and Gcore addresses the increasing demand for AI solutions across various industries. The partnership enables Pienso to offer AI capabilities without the risk of vendor lock-in or exorbitant egress charges. The focus on data sovereignty would particularly be significant, catering to industries and regions that prioritize data privacy.
Birago Jones, CEO of Pienso, highlighted the advantages of the collaboration, saying, “We are pleased to partner with Gcore to leverage their expertise in cloud computing, bringing the power of Graphcore IPUs to enterprise AI customers-as-a-service. For companies and government entities with data privacy concerns, the Pienso solution is an ideal alternative to Large Language Models accessed via a CSP-hosted API. Our code-free interface, coupled with Graphcore IPUs designed for AI workloads, delivers a user experience that encourages experimentation. Fast throughput, low-latency, interactive AI delivers insights in time to act on them. The self-service portal and on-demand pricing Gcore offers make it simple for users to get started quickly.”
Gcore is an international player in CDN technology, public cloud and edge computing, content delivery, hosting, and security solutions.
