With the establishment of its new European center in Berlin, Hyve Managed Hosting, a worldwide supplier of fully managed hosting, is bringing its cloud expertise to Germany and the DACH market. Hyve is a multinational organization that offers customized global infrastructure and management services, such as private cloud, dedicated servers, colocation, cybersecurity services, and more.
Headquartered in the United Kingdom, Hyve Managed Hosting has operations in the UK, the US, and Europe. Prominent client brands in the firm’s portfolio include Ansys, Konica Minolta, Capita, and the UK National Health Service (NHS).
Hyve Managed Hosting’s new hub in Berlin, Germany, aims to provide high-performance cloud hosting solutions with truly personalized management and support. Through its extensive worldwide network of data centers, the managed hosting provider offers managed cloud services to a wide range of business sectors. Managed Private and Managed Enterprise Clouds, Hybrid & Multi-Cloud solutions, Dedicated & Bare Metal Servers, and Disaster Recovery as a Service are some of Hyve’s customized offerings.
“As the largest economy in the EU, Germany was an easy choice for us when deciding on the new European HQ base in the region,” said Jake Madders, co-founder and Director of Hyve Managed Hosting. “The cloud market of the DACH zone has great potential and has been showing strong growth year to year. Deciding on where to settle in Germany, given its booming economy, was more difficult. However, we selected Berlin as our European hub. The city is one of the major tech regions in Europe and also shares similarities in culture and values with Brighton, the location of our global HQ.”
“Brexit also helped the idea of opening a European office as we wanted to reassure the UK and European customers that we can continue to service them seamlessly in this new post-Brexit reality,” added Mr. Madders. “With our new base in Germany, companies we work with can store their data securely within the EU region while complying with data sovereignty and European data protection regulations.”
Hyve Entrance in US Market
Hyve Managed Hosting's entrance into Germany comes after a successful period of development during which the company's revenue increased by 51% in the previous three years and its worldwide workforce increased by over 30% in 2023 alone. Additionally, the business relocated to Brighton, UK, to its new, bigger headquarters.
With the establishment of its North American center in Austin, Texas, last month, Hyve Managed Hosting also introduced its cloud expertise to the American market.
Leading Hyve’s development and expansion across North America is Stoney Reynolds, who joined the firm as Head of Region in the United States. In the past, Mr. Reynolds has held executive positions in marketing and sales with organizations including Nortel, Trend Micro, and FutureCom. According to Hyve Managed Hosting, within the first year of his most recent position at NEC, Stoney Reynolds led the inside sales team from zero to a total contract value of $4.3 million, showcasing his outstanding leadership abilities and knowledge of the American technology market.
“The cloud has so much potential to accelerate business growth, but organizations lack the in-house knowledge and skillsets needed to get there,” said Stoney Reynolds, Head of Region in the US at Hyve Managed Hosting. “That’s why they’re turning more to managed service providers like Hyve. We have a massive opportunity in the U.S. market to empower businesses to innovate through a secure, reliable and ‘always-on’ infrastructure. I can’t wait to be a part of this exciting new chapter in the company’s story.”
Operational Management Hyve Office in Berlin
In the year to come, Hyve Managed Hosting intends to allocate significant resources towards hiring new staff for its new Berlin office - in line with its strategic goals of expanding its client base, increasing revenue, and consolidating its position as a preferred managed cloud provider in the area. Hyve is looking at further chances to grow within the EU, as well as in APAC and Australia.
Former member of the technical team at the Brighton headquarters, Mike Wotton has joined the Hyve Managed Hosting office in Germany as Operations Manager. With a deep comprehension of Hyve's goals in both the commercial and technological domains, Mr. Wotton will lead the company's development and expansion in the DACH area in his new role.
“Hyve fills a gap in the German market for an established provider, working globally while maintaining a small-business ethos and focus on support,” said Mike Wotton. “Our experts have the market knowledge, technical expertise, and people-first attitude to support German businesses in growing. We are eager to explore business opportunities in Germany and the DACH region, with the aim of becoming the go-to managed cloud provider on the market.”
