About Greg Lavender

Greg Lavender, CTO and General Manager of Intel’s Software and Advanced Technology Group, is responsible for driving technical innovation and research programs at Intel. With over 35 years of experience in software and hardware product engineering, Lavender has led the global transformation of Citi IT, Cisco, and Sun Microsystems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in computer science from Virginia Tech.
