With the recent revitalization of its Partner Ready Vantage program, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has opened up new opportunities for partners globally. With this strategic new IT channel approach, the IT industry hopes to enable channel partners of different sizes to provide more efficient as-a-service solutions in a fast expanding market.
HPE Partner Ready Vantage, now globally available for as-a-service partners, would showcase an evolved competency framework, designed to support and highlight the unique expertise of each partner. This update would promise to enhance the way IT channel partners approach markets, emphasizing their individual strengths and specialties.
Simon Ewington, Vice President of Worldwide Channel & Partner Ecosystem at HPE, underscores the significance of this channel program update: “HPE Partner Ready Vantage is a game changer for partners seeking margin-rich opportunities across professional services, managed services, and customer success.”
New Tools and Enhanced Offerings
Building on the HPE Partner Ready program, Partner Ready Vantage introduces three distinct tracks - Build, Sell, and Service. Each track is complemented by specialized Centers of Expertise, allowing partners to deepen their skills and knowledge.
The Build track focuses on developing and integrating workloads with HPE GreenLake, the Sell track targets recurring revenue growth, and the Service track aims at enhancing customer experiences through deepened service offerings.
In addition to existing offers, HPE has introduced a suite of new tools:
- A rapid migration tool facilitating end-to-end application migration to hybrid cloud
- A partner-led services experience for HPE GreenLake, allowing customization atop HPE’s offerings
- Expanded consulting services for HPE Aruba Networking partner practice building, aimed at enhancing business planning and service discovery
- Resources and training for HPE Aruba Networking partner selling, including outcome-based selling webinar series and a customer success partner lifecycle campaign.
Revamped Competency Framework
The revamped competency framework at HPE places a heightened emphasis on IT channel partner understanding of HPE technology and its application to various customer challenges. This end-to-end approach covers technical, sales, solutions, and industry expertise, offering channel partners a choice to develop paths based on their specific business models.
Current competencies would align with HPE’s strategy for Edge, Hybrid Cloud, and AI. Some of the key competencies include HPE Aruba Networking Central, HPE GreenLake for Networking, Data protection and disaster recovery solutions, HPE solutions for VDI, and HPE solutions for SAP HANA. Additional competencies are set to be announced in 2024.
Since its announcement at HPE Discover 2022, Partner Ready Vantage has garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback from partners, according to HPE. This channel program would not only address customer needs but also accelerate as-a-service channel partner growth across HPE’s Hybrid Cloud and HPE Aruba Networking portfolio.
HPE Partner Ready Vantage would stand as a testament to HPE’s commitment to fostering growth and innovation among its partners. As the program continues to evolve and expand, it might pave the way for partners of all sizes to explore new market opportunities, leveraging HPE’s “cutting-edge technology and comprehensive support.”
