The launch of IP Maestro was announced by IP Infusion, a developer of carrier-grade networking software products. IP Maestro is a platform for network automation that would make network administration easier with its graphical user interface. It enables device control with a “simple click’ for OcNOS installations of any size.
Network operators seeking a feature-rich and adaptable software substitute for mainstream and monolithic systems suppliers could choose the OcNOS network operating system.
With IP Infusion’s IP Maestro offering, users may access the power of centralized administration via an intuitive web-based graphical user interface. Through this interface, administrators may directly access device and network element information, as well as see network topologies.
Additionally, IP Maestro would offer more sophisticated features including bulk device actions for carrying out extensive changes. This interface provides access to all device performance data along with the option to tailor it to certain applications.
Network Switches and Routers, APIs
IP Maestro key features would include the following:
- Single platform to simplify management for OcNOS on white box hardware for service provider and data center networks
- Web-based interface for controlling network switches and routers
- Intuitive visualization for device monitoring including advanced FCAPS (fault, configuration, accounting, performance, and security)
- Data model driven framework for integrating with Open APIs
- Internationalization (i18n) support for multiple languages
“A picture is worth a thousand words, and our new IP Maestro provides graphical support to help solve complex networking problems,” said Atsushi Ogata, President and CEO of IP Infusion. “The ease of point-and-click for OcNOS customers is a reality today with IP Maestro.”
