Liquid Web and VPN.com Strengthen Alliance for Enhanced Enterprise Hosting

IaaS hosting provider Liquid Web, a VPN.com partner, is growing their alliance for enterprise hosting packages. Liquid Web’s Amsterdam data center recently expanded, and to promote the cooperation, VPN.com also released a range of contents supporting the extended partnership, along with that of multiple other “tier-1” hosting providers.

VPN.com is a global authority on Virtual Private Network (VPN) research and data. Users can easily examine and compare hundreds of VPN services at once by pricing, features, and many other criteria thanks to the company’s collection of 188,000 data points from more than 900 VPN providers.

Liquid Web now has capacity of over 24,000 servers in Amsterdam alone, while they own and manage ten global data centers. More than 500,000 sites are managed by Liquid Web (managed hosting), while over 100,000 software subscriptions, and more than two million people utilize the free version of their software at Liquid Web, Nexcess (digital commerce cloud), and StellarWP (WordPress software and tools).

By partnering with VPN.com, Liquid Web has joined a select group of hosting companies that VPN.com has collaborated with, such as Performive, OVHcloud, UltaHost, and WP Engine. These VPN.com partners together would account for over $1 billion in worldwide hosting revenue. Liqui Web is now expanding its partnership for the provision of enterprise hosting packages.

Adding VPN Services

VPN services can be a valuable addition to any hosting provider’s solutions portfolio, as they enable them to provide their customers with added protection and privacy. An additional layer of security against data breaches and cyber threats is offered by a VPN, which encrypts Internet traffic. Furthermore, VPNs provide users with increased privacy and anonymity.

In addition, adding VPN services may broaden a hosting company’s product line, increasing its appeal and competitiveness in a saturated industry. It makes it possible for hosting service providers to meet a wider variety of customer demands, particularly those of companies whose workers need to be able to use the Internet securely. This is especially important in light of the growing popularity of remote and hybrid work arrangements.

Additionally, providing VPN services might open up new business opportunities for hosting companies. Customers are often prepared to pay more for this additional value service since they are becoming more conscious of online security and privacy. Because customers are more likely to continue with a supplier that provides a full portfolio of services fulfilling all of their web hosting and security requirements, this addition may help enhance customer retention.

Finally, offering VPN services may elevate hosting companies’ reputations and credibility in the market by positioning them as full solutions specialists in both web hosting and general digital security.

"We have been in the cybersecurity and internet service industry for a long time. We have seen hosting providers come and go and a select few have stood the test of time with a focus on premium offerings and service,” said Michael Gargiulo, CEO at VPN.com. “This is what separates Liquid Web and our partners from the rest of the market and world. They go above and beyond the needs of today to ensure lightning-fast speeds and military grade security for clients. Whether a client's needs expanded bare metal server capacity or they need to spin up a developer Virtual Private Server, Liquid Web and Jim's leadership continues to impress us at each and every turn.”
