Managed hosting provider Nexcess has launched a new charity donation program to support non-profit organizations through its newly launched online store, the Nexcess Swag Shop. The program will see all proceeds go to The Trevor Project, a mental health and suicide prevention organization that caters to LGBTQ+ youth.
Nexcess employees vote quarterly to select a charity to support, with The Trevor Project being the first beneficiary. The Swag Shop was created using StoreBuilder by Nexcess, which is built on WordPress and powered by fully managed WooCommerce hosting. With this technology, users can create a customized store and sell a wide array of products online.
Misty Combs, Director of Human Resources at Nexcess, said that the company is “a diverse and inclusive family of helpful humans” and that they “wanted proceeds to benefit nonprofits because we want to give back to the community and we're thrilled to be able to support The Trevor Project this quarter.”
