NetBrain Unveils No-Code Network Automation for Hybrid Multi-Cloud

CODE DEVELOPERS

NetBrain Technologies, a pioneer in NetOps automation, has launched the latest version of its flagship product, NetBrain Next-Gen. With this release, NetBrain aims to bring no-code network automation to the forefront of hybrid multi-cloud connected networks, allowing organizations to manage their digital infrastructures as a collection of intended behaviors defined by operational teams, security teams, and other teams that depend on the digital infrastructure itself for service delivery.

The rising complexity of modern networks has led to more frequent and expensive network disruptions, with over two-thirds of network outages costing more than $100,000, according to the Uptime Institute’s Global Data Center Survey 2022. Moreover, a skills gap in IT personnel has widened, making it difficult for organizations to find and retain experienced IT professionals with expertise in on-premises technology and digital transformation initiatives. As a result, organizations would require an operational strategy that is more intelligent, repeatable, and scalable, and NetBrain Next-Gen’s no-code network automation aims to address these issues.

NetBrain Next-Gen introduces several new features, including the Automation Data Tables (ADT) global intent database, which democratizes automation, allowing anyone to design, duplicate, alter, and use intent-based automation from the powerful global automation library. Recursive, template-powered auto-replication on demand across multi-vendor networks enables NetOps to scale automation more effectively while troubleshooting. Furthermore, Next-Gen introduces event-driven dynamic maps and automated diagnostics that can be used to dynamically map problem regions, debug network issues, quicken critical operational operations, prevent unintentional network modifications, and proactively prevent issues.

New Automation Data Table Technology

Lingping Gao, the founder and CEO of NetBrain Lingping Gao, the founder and CEO of NetBrain, “We have the privilege of having thousands of clients globally who manage some of the biggest infrastructures, so we listen very attentively to their operational demands at scale."

Improved automation workflows would allow for auto-triggers diagnostic automation using information from issue tickets, self-service, or monitoring probes. Additionally, customizable reports would provide key automation and diagnostic insights on the enhanced reporting interface, enabling drill-down for more information on network health, including compliance checks for hybrid clouds, power, capacity planning, and performance trend analysis. Conversation-driven, self-service chatbot NetOps would use a simple web-based chat interaction, allowing anyone to carry out multi-step intent-based automations to quickly resolve real-world difficulties.

According to Lingping Gao, the founder and CEO of NetBrain, “We have the privilege of having thousands of clients globally who manage some of the biggest infrastructures, so we listen very attentively to their operational demands at scale. NetBrain Next-Gen presents our new Automation Data Table technology, allowing anybody to record, duplicate, and enforce desired network behaviors. These intentions may then be shared in our worldwide automation library. Since the whole company now has access to the aggregate knowledge of their peers, this significantly lowers remediation times, the need for extra manpower, the risk of human mistake, and escalations. Everyone who wants to may utilize our no-code network automation thanks to NetBrain Next-Gen.”

NetBrain Technologies was founded in 2004 to automate network documentation, speed up troubleshooting, and increase network security. Today, over 2,500 of the top organizations and managed service providers around the world utilize NetBrain's solutions. The headquarters of NetBrain are located in Burlington, Massachusetts, and the company has offices in Beijing, China, Toronto, Canada, Munich, Germany, and London, United Kingdom.

NetBrain’s launch of NetBrain Next-Gen has the potential to transform the way organizations manage their digital infrastructures. By providing no-code network automation capabilities, NetBrain Next-Gen would enable organizations to increase service availability while considerably lowering business risk, operational costs, outages, and escalations. The introduction of ADT global intent database would democratize automation, allowing anyone to design, duplicate, alter, and use intent-based automation, making it simpler to use, more scalable, and gives more NetOps staff the ability to work more efficiently.
