Global supplier of secured cloud and colocation, LightEdge, has introduced the next iteration of its managed services and cloud security offerings, which include new Endpoint Detection Response (EDR) and Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions that have been reorganized. The revised LightEdge Cloud suite, which is maintained by LightEdge's team of cloud engineers, provides customized business continuity services with additional options for thorough threat monitoring and warnings.
According to Jim Masterson, CEO of LightEdge, “Security is our clients’ top concern, especially as enterprises face more and more dire cybersecurity threats. Data integrity, uptime, and client compliance continue to be our top concerns. We take seriously our responsibility to provide businesses with a complete cloud experience from a single, dependable IT partner. We also recognize that businesses are no longer interested in fragmented cloud offerings.”
Today's corporate executives continue to rank cloud security as one of the most important concerns. One recent study by the Ponemon Institute found that 60% of IT and security leaders surveyed are not confident in their organization's ability to ensure secure cloud access. The 2023 Flexera State of Cloud report found that 79% of respondents rated security as one of their organization's top cloud challenges. Concerns about cloud security are growing as organizations see a boom in digital transformation.

Rob Carter, Chief Growth Officer of LightEdge, said, “We recognize that business continuity needs vary drastically depending on the maturity, risk, and budget of each organization. LightEdge’s managed services can be customized to each client’s specific requirements and act as an extension of their IT teams, offering knowledge and support to guarantee the highest quality data replication, recovery, and security. Businesses may rely on LightEdge as their reliable partner to guarantee that their business continuity plans fulfill requirements while maintaining the highest standards of security, dependability, and performance.”
