Tencent Cloud, the cloud division of Chinese multinational technology corporation Tencent, is making its debut at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) event. At the annual trade expo for computers and electronics held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Tencent Cloud is showcasing its cloud gaming capabilities including its global CDN infrastructure.
With a global presence of 26 geographic areas across five continents, 70 availability zones, and 2,800 CDN (content delivery network) nodes spread across more than 70 nations and regions, Tencent Cloud is a top cloud service provider (CSP) on a global level. Utilizing “cutting-edge” technologies including cloud computing, big data analytics, AI, IoT, and network security, Tencent Cloud would offer enterprises high-performance, highly dependable, and secured cloud products and services through its broad worldwide infrastructure.
Tencent Cloud will demonstrate three of its products during the GITEX event in Dubai, highlighting its strengths in gaming, media, and mobile:
- Game Cloud – A unique service with a geographically dispersed architecture to handle high-latency problems and provide the greatest gaming performance in the Middle East.
- Media Services – A full range of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Application Platform as a Service (aPaaS) products, such as Tencent Real-Time Communication (TRTC), Cloud Streaming Services (CSS), Video on Demand (VOD), Instant Messaging (IM), and Media Processing Service (MPS), that can be used to quickly and easily launch audio/video applications by developers and businesses.
- Tencent Mobile Framework (TMF) – One of largest mini-Program open platforms, which hosts a community of 3 million mini program developers and powers 6.5 million mini programs on Weixin.
