Veritas Redefines Cloud Migration: Secured Application Transfer in Minutes

Businesses can transfer or launch new mission-critical applications in public cloud environments more easily thanks to Veritas Technologies, a supplier of secured multi-cloud data management. Veritas Application Mobility Service expedites the process by automating the journey, cutting it down from months to as little as fifteen minutes. Now that the service is open to everyone and includes support for the Microsoft Azure platform, more enterprises may take use of its advantages.

Businesses have difficulties while implementing cloud migrations or creating new robust cloud environments, stated Veritas Technologies. These can be labor-intensive procedures that call for knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies in addition to an awareness of application dependencies. Additionally, to handle any configuration or feature gaps, organizations would need to account for and plan for the shared responsibility model of cloud service providers (CSPs). These issues, along with others, are resolved by Veritas Application Mobility Service.

“Every organization’s journey to the cloud is different, but there's one thing they all seem to have in common: complexity,” said Rags Srinivasan, Vice President and General Manager of Application Resilience at Veritas. “A new player in the game is Veritas Application Mobility Service. This function acts as a quick and low-risk ‘easy button’ while offering sufficient depth to go into the specifics and guarantee that every part of the transfer is executed correctly. With only a few quick steps, organizations can now confidently go to the cloud.”

Cloud Application Deployment Challenges

Utilizing a free 60-day trial, businesses may test the service and get application configuration templates that are optimized for optimal results. These templates can be used to automatically launch applications in the cloud. In addition, users will benefit from integrated application resiliency as part of their installed 60-day trial license since the service is built on Veritas Alta Enterprise Resiliency platform. They may turn the trial into a paid subscription if they want to keep receiving the benefits of cross-location resilience for mission-critical applications.

Solution architect Carlos Gabriel Ceja Olaeta, Regional Manager at Itera, stated: “Itera is committed to empowering our clients by elevating, modernizing, and optimizing the advantages of cloud computing. Our perspective is that Veritas Application Mobility Service is a low-risk and attractive option to address typical challenges with cloud application deployment. As experts in accelerating digital transformation for enterprises, this service can help. Accelerating time-to-value and guaranteeing applications' continuous operation and resilience after migration to the cloud are two benefits it offers. With this service, we want to provide our consumers enhanced mobility, more resilience, cost-effectiveness, and simplified simplicity.”

A SaaS-based solution like this would make it simple to launch new cloud installations. To get started, just choose the kind of application and cloud provider, adjust the compute, network, and storage resource settings as necessary, launch the updated configuration, and start the application. The AWS and Microsoft Azure platforms are supported by Veritas Application Mobility Service.

“We want companies to have the time and flexibility to evaluate their workloads with the Veritas Application Mobility Service,” added Rags Srinivasan. “They may test things out and make sure the service satisfies their company demands throughout the 60-day trial period. We think after giving it a try, they’ll decide to stick around because of how simple it is to use and how valuable the application resilience is.
