Featured keynote speaker, Reshma Saujani, started her career as an attorney and activist before becoming the first Indian American woman to run for Congress in 2010. During the race, Reshma visited local schools and witnessed firsthand the gender gap in computing classes, which inspired her to found Girls Who Code, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology and changing people's perceptions of what a computer programmer is and does.

Reshma Saujani is the author of the international bestseller ‘Brave, Not Perfect’ and the New York Times bestseller ‘Girls Who Code’: Learn to Code and Change the World. Saujani’s TED talk, ‘Teach girls, bravery not perfection,’ has more than four million views and has sparked a worldwide conversation about how we’re raising our girls. She is also the host of the award-winning podcast ‘Brave, Not Perfect.’

During this live fireside chat, Reshma Saujani will answer questions and recount her personal breakthroughs and lessons learned while offering tips on ways to improve resiliency, take risks, and embark on new ideas.
